Quickly post in 30mins

July 31, 2009

Ok so I bought Marvel vs Camcopm 2 on Xbox Live earlier in the week and found it to be pretty awesome. I might still have to learn more combos and characters and then make the best team but I like Guile, Zangeif and Ryu for now. Specially since they’re my favourites from Street Fighter.

I’m gonna make this short so a video:

Here’s ME playing Trackmania, for no reason!

The All New Xbox Dashboard Preview!

July 29, 2009

The new Xbox Preview has rrives, click more too see what I’ve found already by looking through! After sending in E-mail saying I would like to see what’s coming very soon Microsoft kindly st me up along with 1000s more for the Update Preview. Ok so while some features aren’t already on like the FAILBOOK, Twitter and Last.FM because they’re still being finished we already have most of the other features that I might go over in this post. I suppose since I’m there I’ll pick up as many as I can but lets start with:

Ratings – Everything on the Maketplaces cn now be iven a 5 star rating so now you can go by what the community thinks to get the best Arcade games, Game Addons or for what everybody really wanted it for the Indie Games.

Solutions Tab – A troubleshooting guide is now available so if there’s any problems with the Xbox or Joypad (even though you can still use your Xbox) you can solve many problems without having to use the site or the phone. I’m guessing that would be convinient as long as the Xbox can switch on.

Achivement Pannels – A new pannel has been added into the front which shows your current progress, (ie How much you have/How much you could have at 100% everything) as well as showing which games you have completed for Achivements. Also you can go through this page and load games from there just to get those last points if that’s your sort of thing.

Games on Demand – Soon all Xbox360 games will be on the Marketplace so players will be able to purchase them from there and run them without hving to buy the disc. It’ll also come with downloadble Game Manuals, just incase you have to

Check out the enclosed Instruction Book.

Avatar Marketplace – Maybe not a reat feature imo as you can now spend MSPoints on Avatar clothing which includes items based or made from games but the problem that stands is there still isn’t that way we could show them off in our games. Ofcourse what everyone is waiting for is the Reward Clothing where you can get items for free by winning them from games. No idea myself how that works whether it’ll trigger by a certain achivement or come up as it’s own challenge but eitherway I’ll look forward to it.

Something else – You can press X to eject your game on the screen to launch it.

That’s all for now, I’ll post more if I’ve missed anything or need to add on more. In the meantime take it easy.

Goodbye FB, I’M FREE NOW!!!1

July 27, 2009

Losing the Facebook is almost like etting a bit of my life back I lost to a Social Site. Finally I feel like I’ve regained a part of my life back that was consumed by stupid pplications and stuff. Apart from my progress on those stupid games no I doubt I’ll miss anything important. And if I really really need another one I’ll just make another E-mail and sign on just a small handful of people and kep a low profile, or just join a diff site ofcourse.

Anyways moving on, I’ve been trying my hardest to enjoy GH World Tour but it’s not really helping. It still feels weird and boring as ever, and a horrible track list dosen’t help that. I only like a small amount of songs on the game which for definete would be Crazy Train.

A video now though:

A cross between Team Fortress 2 and Dawn of War

No Guitar Here sorry

July 25, 2009

I recently bought Guitar Hero World Tour and found it to be nowhere near as good as Gituar Hero 3 as there’s FAR TOO MUCH to mess with. Sure you can create your own Band, Band Members, Instruments, Logos and even Music but for a Gitaur Hero game it has defiently andered off it’s main point. Also it forces he peripherals to be used rather than the older ones where the player could use a controller and still play Guitar or Bass. Sadly no with just a controller the player can only play Vocals and I know for a fact I can’t sin and I don’t want to either. I might just find a good ay to get rid of it and go back to GH3.

There’s nothing else of interest to say so a video nao:

How to make a cake, apparently.

Entertainment Issues No longer a Problem!

July 23, 2009

Got some more Microsoft Points and thought I’d treat myself to Castle Crashers and ‘Splosion Man. I love both of them a lot and find them to be endless amounts of fun.

‘Splosion Man has got to be my fvourite since it’s the funniest out of the two and is highly addictive. It’s just a lot of fun sploding around a map at high speed. I can’t wait to try out the Multiplayer maps or even get to the end of the game to unlock the Premium theme for free.

Castle Crashers is pretty good, it’s a bit like one of those Streets of Rage type games except it’s also an RPG and has fun and cool graphics. Also since I bought Alien Hominid on my Xbox I can play as him, instead of the Knights, making it a little more fun. I wouldn’t mind some co-op partners but I’ll have to do without atm.

I’ll video now:

Never have I been so Unentertained

July 22, 2009

Feels like every thing’s so boring now, at least every thing’s going back to normal with the postman. Delivering once again. got my Botherhood Statue and GRAW2 Legacy. It’s just like the Oblivion GOTY where all the content is on another separate disc. I can lend that out to friends and we can play together with a slightly advanced game play.

Chen in Sky Chase Zone

Chen in Sky Chase Zone

I also spent some time adding to my MUGEN and found Sky Chase zone, probably the funniest find since the SWR/IaMP Touhou chars would play a lot differently rather than making it some sort of SHMup. That and Chen makes it look like a lot of fun. I’ve tried it with other Chars but Chen and Cirno seem to be the easiest to control on it. That and I can’t have Snakes on a Plane (I made a reference lol).

Enjoy the little picture since YouTube is running horribly today some reason.

So there were these parties

July 20, 2009

I went to 2 parties both of them bein my friends and his sisters since they’re twins nd it’s their birthday on Wednesday this week as far as I know. Many happy returns to the two who are in the Guiness Book of Records as smallest twins born. I don’t know hich edition but all he’s obbsessed about is his Gamerscore. -_-

The first on Friday was in  pub, everyone was just chatting away and drinking. There were nibblets and cake ofcourse. Most of his workmates were there and they were pretty good company. Most of the Gentlemen being Ecksbawks users ofcourse hence they they were probibly his bestest friends.

The second on Saturday was just a Garden barbeque, a large selection of Foods and Salad with more Cake and booze. His sister’s friends were there but I’ve seen them before on the college bus so I knew who they were. The exact bunch that keep me awake when I tried to sleep on the bus.

In other news, I’ve been Ebaying quite a lot recently with plenty of Touhou stuff along with a Brotherhood of Steel statue and the GRAW2 Legacy Edition. I might pass the origional onto someone else that might want it and keep the Leg since it has all the dlc on the disc rather than buying it all from the marketplace.

A video now:

Sometihng I saw on Kotaku, a StarFox remake in full HD that looks like it plays like the older, MUCH MORE BETTER N64 and SNES versions being all about doing the Barrel Roll and Using the Boost to catch up.

Partie Tiem!!!1

It’s a secrit Casino, just like in the Godfather lol

July 16, 2009

Found a casino in PSU while travelling with a friend, it has a giant roulette wheel that I though spun right round baby right round but instead there’s just a little light to chase. It’s not really that fun but if you’re lucky you can increase your free coins given each day to buy some pretty cool loots. There’s soundtrcks for rooms, weapons and outfits. I’ll check tomorrow to get some more coins, atleast before the night out at the pub tomorrow.

I’m fed up with Gun on the Xbawks, I have 2 gold ingots to find and I CANNOT BE BOTHERED! It wasn’t hard last time but no it seems like they don’t even exists, and I’ve looked verywhere. That said I could just finish the side missions and start the hardest difficulty. Just play all the way through that and then look for the golds.

Haven’t even started FEAR yet that i bought a while back, and since I sent my lovefilm rentals back, I’ll expect my next ones in just over a week, that said I ordered a Flandre keyring not so long ago from Paletweb, still waiting on that. That said it’s been a while before I’ve pushed myself to try Lunatic on Touhou lately, I’ll think about it when I have free time.

Anyways a video now:

Always liked Guns n Roses, listening to it in Mario Paint makes it fun somehow, like Guitar Hero for the Super Nintendo.

Still gotta RSVP

July 16, 2009

I got 2 invatations to parties, I should RSVP them today since ones tomorrow and the other is the following day. Different times and places ofcourse but same person lol. It would be an interesting night out thats for sure, and party the next day. Sound exciting but I’ll have to call in first for both of them, let them know I’m coming.

Also bought Street Fighter 4 and The Godfather 2 for Xbox, I’m prefering Street Fighter since it feels retro but at the same time the updated graphics make it look a lot nicer. Shame Blanka talks which he shouldn’t but other than that it’s a very fun game.

A video now:

That’s clever!
